GrowRo is a browser extension that pays you back in Roblox gift cards when you shop at supported retailers. It started as a project for one family — and family use is still a core case, alongside adult Roblox players who shop online for themselves.
If you have a kid who plays Roblox, you already know the loop: they ask for Robux. You buy a $10 gift card. Repeat next month.
Or you play Roblox yourself — like millions of adults do — and the same shopping you'd do anyway can fund your own Robux instead of coming out of pocket every month.
Either way, the mechanism is the same. You're already shopping online for things you'd buy anyway — groceries, gear, gifts. Most of those retailers pay a small commission for sending them a customer. GrowRo earns that commission and shares it with you as Roblox gift card credit.
GrowRo started with a software engineer (and parent) who got tired of the monthly "Dad, can I have more Robux?" cycle and wondered if the shopping the family was already doing could quietly fund it instead.
Stores pay GrowRo a commission for sending shoppers to them. GrowRo splits that commission with you, in the form of Roblox gift card credit. The Robux Back rate next to each store is what you receive — no math to do. Once you've earned $10, redeem for a real Roblox gift card code — we email it to you.
As of May 2026, GrowRo is preparing for Chrome Web Store submission. The infrastructure — extension, backend, gift card delivery via Tremendous — is built and live in sandbox. We're in the final stretch of compliance work before applying to the affiliate networks that turn shopping clicks into commission revenue.
